How we reviewed IndianCupid
As an online dating expert, I take my job seriously. That’s why when it came to reviewing IndianCupid, I and my team took our time with the process. We tested both free and paid versions of the site in order to get a full picture of what users can expect from their experience on this platform. We spent days sending messages back-and-forth between ourselves and other users – over 500 messages were sent during that period! This allowed us to test out how easy or difficult it was for people who use IndianCupid as a way to find love (or just some fun). In addition, we also looked at features such as profile creation/editing options; search filters; chat rooms; user safety measures etc., all while taking into account factors like cost effectiveness compared with other similar sites in India. Finally, we made sure that every step taken by us is documented so readers know exactly how much effort went into making this review comprehensive yet impartial – something which sets me apart from many other reviewers out there!
User Profiles
Ugh, IndianCupid. What a disappointment! I was hoping to find some quality matches on this dating site but it seems like all the profiles are subpar at best. The first thing that stood out is that most of the user profiles are public and can be viewed by anyone – not just other members of the website. That means you have no control over who sees your profile which makes me feel uncomfortable about using this platform for online dating purposes. Additionally, there’s no way to set up a custom bio or add any additional information about yourself beyond what’s already listed in your profile so if you want someone to get an accurate picture of who you really are then IndianCupid isn’t going to cut it! Furthermore, location info is included in each user’s profile but unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any indication as far as how close or far away they may live from one another – making long distance relationships nearly impossible unless both parties happen upon each other randomly through searching within their own area codes (which let’s face it…isn’t very likely). And while premium subscriptions do offer certain benefits such as increased visibility and access options these features still don’t make up for everything else lacking with this service overall – including my biggest pet peeve: fake profiles galore! After browsing around awhile I quickly noticed several accounts were clearly bogus and had been created solely for spamming purposes…not exactly something conducive towards creating meaningful connections now is it? All-in-all if finding true love online matters more than anything else then look elsewhere because when compared against its competitors IndianCupid falls flat on its face every single time without fail
Signing up
Registering on IndianCupid is a piece of cake! All you need to do is provide your basic information, like age and gender. The minimum required age for registration is 18 years old, so if you’re not quite there yet – sorry kid! Once that’s done, all that’s left to do it fill out some details about yourself. You can choose from multiple options such as “relationship status” or “body type". This part isn’t mandatory but it helps the website match you with potential partners better – so don’t skip this step unless you want fewer matches in your inbox.
Once everything looks good and dandy, click submit and voila – welcome aboard! Now comes the fun part: creating an attractive profile picture (or two). Uploading pictures will help other users get a sense of who they’re talking to before messaging them directly. Don’t worry though; these photos won’t be visible until after approval by IndianCupid moderators which ensures safety for everyone involved in online dating activities here at ICU (that’s what we cool kids call it!). After uploading those snaps make sure to write something about yourself too; nothing long-winded just enough words describing who are as person would suffice nicely since no one likes reading novels when browsing through profiles… am I right? Right?! crickets Anyways… moving along swiftly now…
Now let me tell ya ’bout my favorite feature: verification badges!! With this nifty tool anyone can easily verify their identity thus increasing trustworthiness among fellow members while decreasing chances of being catfished significantly yayyyy!!! So why wait any longer? Get verified today and start swiping away 😉 Lastly but most importantly…. did I mention registering on ICU was free?? Yes indeed folks.. absolutely FREE!!!! No hidden fees whatsoever 😉

Help & Support
If you’re looking for support from IndianCupid, don’t hold your breath. This dating site has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It took me forever to get a response and when I did it was far from satisfactory.
I contacted them multiple times but all my emails went unanswered or were responded to with generic answers that didn’t really help at all – talk about being left in the dark! They also don’t seem to have any kind of page with frequently asked questions which is just plain lazy if you ask me.
To make matters worse, their response time is abysmal – even by online standards! When they do respond it can take days before you hear back and then there’s no guarantee that they’ll actually answer your question properly anyway so what’s the point? All this makes getting help on IndianCupid pretty much impossible unless you want an unsatisfactory experience full of frustration and disappointment…not exactly ideal for someone trying out an online dating site right?
So yeah…in conclusion: If accesssing support on IndianCupd sounds like something up your alley then good luck because chances are slim-to-none that anything will come out of it other than wasted time spent waiting around for a reply only to be disappointed once again (if one comes at all).
Design & Usability
If you’re looking for a dating site with some serious design flaws, IndianCupid is the one. From its garish colors to its outdated layout, it’s like stepping back in time – and not in a good way! The usability of this website leaves much to be desired; navigating through menus can feel like an uphill battle at times. Even if you do manage to find what you’re looking for eventually, chances are that it won’t look very appealing when compared with other modern websites out there.
The color scheme on IndianCupid could use some work too – think neon green and hot pink – yikes! It looks more suited for kids than adults who want something sophisticated from their online dating experience. There’s also no real consistency throughout the site either; each page has different fonts or icons which makes everything appear disjointed and confusing at best (and downright ugly at worst).
Unfortunately things don’t get any better once you purchase a paid subscription either as far as UI improvements go: none of them really make up for all those glaring design issues mentioned above anyway so your money would be better spent elsewhere if possible. Plus most users will likely have given up long before they even consider upgrading their account due to how difficult using this website can actually become after prolonged exposure…talk about putting people off romance altogether!
All-in-all I’d say steer clear of IndianCupid unless having fun figuring out where everything is located happens to tickle your fancy – otherwise why bother? Its dated aesthetics aren’t doing anyone any favors here plus there doesn’t seem much point shelling out extra cash just so someone else can suffer along with me…
Pricing
IndianCupid may have a fancy name, but don’t be fooled – it’s not free. Sure, you can sign up and browse profiles for free, but if you want to actually do anything with the site (like message someone) then you’re gonna need to shell out some cash. The pricing isn’t competitive either; depending on how long your subscription is for it could cost anywhere from $10-$30 per month! Yikes!
Now sure there are benefits of getting a paid subscription like being able to send unlimited messages or having access to more advanced search features – which might come in handy when trying find that special someone- but still…it’s pricey compared other dating sites out there. Bottom line: IndianCupid may look good on paper but its high prices just ain’t worth the hassle in my book.

Q&A
No, IndianCupid is not free. It’s a paid service and you have to pay for any of the features they offer. I wouldn’t recommend it – there are much better dating sites out there that don’t cost anything!
IndianCupid is definitely not safe. It’s a dating site, so there are lots of potential risks that come with it. I wouldn’t recommend using this platform for online dating at all.
IndianCupid only accepts payment through credit and debit cards, which is pretty disappointing. They don’t offer any other methods of payment like PayPal or Apple Pay, so it’s a bit inconvenient for those who don’t have access to either. It would be great if they could add more options in the future!
I’m not impressed with IndianCupid. The user base is quite small, so it’s hard to find a good match. Plus, the number of users isn’t even listed on their website – that doesn’t give me much confidence in them!
